Dr Sreenivas Reddy, Assistant Professor, Department of Cardiology, PGIMER was awarded Bharat Jyoti Award for meritorious achievements and services in cardiology by the India International Friendship Society.
Dr Reddy youngest member of the faculty of PGIMER, is a Research Associate in stem cell therapy project in acute myocardial infarction sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Information Technology, Government of India from August 2007 to January 2008.
He was bestowed with the award during a conference on 'Economic Growth and National Integration' organised by the society in Delhi by the chief guest Mr Rajasekharan, former Minister of Planning, Government of India.
